We’re going to add some of our all-time favorites to motivate you on your upcoming adventure.
road trips in this article. After reading about road trips, you could have a travel bug.
All throughout the world, we’ve had enough! Now, if there is one thing we like doing more than visiting new locations, it would be driving about and taking in the sights. Nothing compares to the exciting rush of setting out on a road trip in search of a hidden cavern or an oddball gem. Driving gives me a sense of liberation. I feel liberated. I feel lively.

1) Iceland: Volcanoes, glaciers, and panoramas

We no longer like to show favoritism. Our road trip across Iceland, however, is in the top three of all of our travel experiences. Driving in Iceland is like watching a National Geographic special while you’re in the driver’s seat. Nature puts on a dazzling show everywhere you look, with stunning waterfalls, beautiful panoramas, spontaneously erupting geysers, and unusual animals. Every fan of the outdoors may find something to enjoy. Iceland is the place for you if you enjoy scaling ice cliffs, climbing volcanoes, and exploring subterranean lava tunnels.

2) Croatia: Taking you back in time

From Zagreb in the north to Dubrovnik in the south was one of our first road trips in Europe. Because there wasn’t much information available about this schedule, we had some misgivings about it. The instant we arrived in Zagreb, all of our fears were put to rest. Because of our wonderful experience going through fantasy villages, breathtakingly beautiful emerald lakes, and unspoilt natural beauty, we consider Croatia as one of the best countries in Europe. From the crumbling walls of Dubrovnik to the spectacular waterfalls in Plitvice National Park, Croatia enchants everyone who arrives. The cherry on top is the gorgeous coastline trip from Split to Dubrovnik.

3) South Africa: The perfect mix

Make a road trip to South Africa if you could only take one in your whole life. While driving more over 4000 kilometers from Johannesburg to Cape Town, we pretty much saw everything a traveler and photographer could dream for. Wildlife, beaches, stunning drives, vineyards, friendly people, and energetic towns may all be found in South Africa. This is a great trip to take with friends, as we did. As Sid (Savi’s brother) arrived to Johannesburg from Delhi and the two of us from London, the three weeks that followed were utter mayhem. We fell in love with South Africa, and we can’t wait to return.

4) Baltics: The Pleasant Surprise

Many lists of the “top road trips” are missing this particular road trip from their lists. After
We anticipate that more tourists will have to transit through Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania as they explore this part of Europe. Although the drives weren’t as spectacular as those in Ladakh or New Zealand, our journey was unforgettable because of the cultures, history, and people of these places. You’ll like the appeal of these countries with its medieval forts and historically significant highways since driving through the Baltic states is like going through time. The fairytale cities of Tallinn and Riga are the greatest locations to learn about the culture of this area.

5) Mexico: Of colored lagoons and handsome flamingoes

beaches with blue water: checked. Fun-loving locals—a that’s check. Yummy food: checked. What more could one ask for? In a tranquil village on the Yucatan peninsula, how about a heaping serving of flamingos and vibrant lakes? Even if the route there wasn’t as exciting as the destination itself, we’re glad we hired a vehicle to explore this part of Mexico. From the magnificent sandy beaches of Playa Del Carmen to the wonderful architecture in Merida, we truly loved every minute of our journey to Mexico.

6) New Zealand: For nature and coffee lovers

Sincerely, we had become weary of hearing how amazing the scenery in New Zealand were and how there was no other place on planet with them that was as spectacular. We thus made the risky decision to travel halfway around the world at the start of 2016 in order to drive from the North Island to the South Island. Without a question, New Zealand has some of the most breathtaking scenery on the planet, yet we wouldn’t claim they are unparalleled.

7) Australia: The Great Ocean Road

There is a good reason why every publication continually emphasizes this need. The 243-kilometer Victoria stretch of road’s breathtaking ocean views never fail to astound travelers. Following the shore, the Great Ocean Road meanders through breathtaking scenery and adorable fauna, such as koalas and kangaroos. We took it a step further when we visited this part of the world and drove as well as went bushwalking along the Great Ocean Walk. We wholeheartedly advise everyone who decides to drive in Australia to do this.

8) Leh Ladakh: An unforgettable road trip in India Ladakh is one of the best places on earth for towering landscapes and beautiful panoramas. The state that is the farthest north, Kashmir, has an almost concealed territory, and getting there is challenging, especially if you’re driving. But it just enhances the trip’s attraction because visiting Ladakh allows you to get a close-up look at real India. Thanks to the little towns, the kindest people, and the gorgeous (albeit occasionally dangerous) highways, our road trip rates among the most memorable of our lives. Driving at about 18,000 feet is not simple, but we are glad we did it since Ladakh will always have a special place in our hearts.
